‘Edward’ and ‘Bella’ from ‘Twilight’ live forever as Barbie dolls

Edward and Bella will never age in appearance -- although if you leave them in the sun, they may fade.

We're talking about Mattel's Twilight Barbie Collector dolls. Author Stephenie Meyer personally directed the look of the dolls for the toy company. Barbie Collector Designer Sharon Zuckerman says Meyer was "integral in perfecting every detail."

The Barbie creators had the actual costumes from the Twilight set to help them create the costumes for the dolls.

"It was an unforgettable experience and I hope Twilight fans far just as excited about the dolls as I am," said Zuckerman.

The collectibles arrive in stores November 1 and will retail for $24.95.
